This portable DAC/AMP returns with the classic sound design of the W2 series, using two CS43131 chips. While retaining the same DAC and FPGA as the W2, everything else is different. The circuit, wiring, power supply, copper foil, and amplifier have all been completely redesigned. It offers a dynamic range of up to 132 dB and low distortion, surpassing the dynamic range of many music players. It features exceptionally high output power: 800mW continuous output at 32ohm. It includes unique firmware customization for HD800 headphones and other high-end headphones. Overheating is not an issue, thanks to a custom-made oversized CNC aluminum heatsink and a carbon fiber backplate. The design incorporates a unique color scheme and is controlled by a single button.

The circuits, wiring, power supply, copper foil, and amplifier have all been completely redesigned, achieving a real output power of up to 800mW. A large, integrated aluminum heatsink ensures a consistent 800mW output, without sudden spikes.

Cutting-edge Innovation

Thanks to E7's research and development, the amplifier supply voltage is adjustable: +4.5V for in-ear monitors and 6V for over-ear headphones. It includes special firmware optimized for HD800 headphones and high-end (full-size) headphones in high-power mode.

Exemplary Sound Customization

The return of the classic W2 series sound equalization, still using the original CS43131 chip with L&P tuning. Although the output power has been doubled and optimized, it maintains zero background noise for low-impedance, high-sensitivity in-ear monitors. The equalizer offers versatile use and special equalization for various headphone applications, adapting to different tastes and styles.

Aside from keeping the DAC and FPGA the same as in the W2, everything else is different.
